Refreshing Review: The Naked Bee, a natural and honey-infused body care line!

The Naked Bee products are both natural and beautiful, and they smell delicious!

{I received these items for the purposes of use and review. All opinions expressed are my own. Enjoy! :)}

Bees are headlining the news these days. They are the chief pollinators of the planet, and we are losing more and more of them every day. So there is a big push to save them and honor the work and products of the honeybee. One company that values the work of bees is The Naked Bee. I had my first encounter with this company a few months ago, and I am hooked!

A Bit About The Naked Bee

“The Naked Bee was founded on a simple principle – the idea that a business should give more than it takes. We strive to create products that make a positive impact on both people and the planet.” {The Naked Bee also makes all of their products in the USA, which is a plus in my book 🙂 }

 Their slogan is “All of the good stuff, none of the bad stuff.” Over the years I have become more conscious of using products that do not use ingredients that are not good for my skin or the environment. I was excited to discover that The Naked Bee is paraben-free, and free of dyes, pigments, and mineral oil.

A Sample of The Naked Bee Products

I am pretty much a super fan of honey in my body products. I adore the scent, and it is such a great humectant as well. That is why honey works so well in everything from lotions to moisturizers, because honey draws moisture to the skin.

That being said, let’s get to The Naked Bee products that I received!

Body Butter – This is offered in several scents, including orange blossom and coconut. It is a rich body cream and smoothly scented. A little bit goes a long way, and it is great for the whole body and/or problem areas. I look forward to benefitting from its extra emollient texture in the fall and winter months!

Hand and body lotion – Orange blossom and Citron are my favorites indeed! Citron offers a light citrus smell, especially for the warmer months. This lotion comes in a generous tube, and is also offered in lavender, jasmine and coconut. This lotion has the unique property of being the perfect consistency for both hands AND body…win 🙂A rich and nourishing Naked Bee hand and body lotion!

Lip balm – This is Naked Bee nourishment for the lips! It applies smoothly, is lightly scented and feels nourishing when applied to the lips. It also leaves a small bit of shine on the lips without a feeling sticky or excessive.

My favorite scent, hands down, is the orange blossom and honey. The Naked Bee has mixed the two in just the right proportion, and it smell warm and inviting on my skin without being overpowering. And a special note about their Orange Blossom & Honey perfume which I have worn regularly for several months….it is made from 3 simple & natural ingredients: natural alcohol (derived from corn), purified water, and fragrance. Perfection.

More From The Naked Bee

The Naked Bee offers a myriad of products in their line, from a facial moisturizer (with 30 SPF) to foot care, to the perfumes mentioned above. They even offer a mini hand sanitizer with is perfect for my purse and for travel. Many of their products come in several choices of scents, and the price points for their line are VERY reasonable, ranging from $2.99 to $19.99.

Lastly, The Naked Bee is actively trying to increase the population of bees with their Operation Pollination which you can read more about here.

I am so glad to have found out about The Naked Bee and what they offer, and I’ll be giving more of their products a try. Have you tried products from The Naked Bee? If so, which ones are your favorites? Let me know in the comments!

    I have been using Naked Bee for about a
    Year now and will not use anything else.
    I use the shampoo and conditioner, facial scrub, lip balm. Perfume, and hand and body lotion. I love it all and knowing I’m
    Using all natural ingredients is a good feeling. I only wish that the products were more available in the stores

    1. It really is a good feeling Sandra! I understand why you are hooked on Naked Bee 🙂 And I may have to give the facial scrub a try!

    2. It is a good feeling, isn’t it? I found Naked Bee in my town, in the most unlikely place – a locally owned hardware store! Have you tried the store locator on the website to find where you might be able to get products where you live?
