The round dining hall is no more….and a new dining facility has taken its place. After 2 years of rebuilding from the ground up, the new D-Hall dining hall is open for business as the fall semester is set to begin. In addition, there are new buildings and structures going up all across campus!
The ceiling (in the photo above) has a wonderful story. It is a bit of an homage to the former circular D-Hall facility. Everything inside the circle is the former space, everything outside of it is the new space created. Amazing!
And goodbye, PC Dukes! The old building was demolished just this week. Can’t wait to see what the new facility will look like 🙂
There is construction going on EVERYwhere on campus. This is part of the preparation for the new Convocation Center and the adjacent parking deck.
Hotel Madison is up and running! Read and see more about it here. The hotel restaurant, Montpelier, is slated to opened in the fall.
