My run with Disney…at home update: Disney announces a virtual 5K series!

I enjoy the flexibility of running a virtual race at home. Currently, I’ve done  two virtual 5Ks this year, on my own, that have coincided with the big Half Marathon weekends at Disney. I have named them my “run with Disney…at home” 5Ks, and I have enjoyed being part of the fun there while on my treadmill or in my neighborhood 🙂

Well, there must be plenty of folks like me who do something similar because runDisney has just announced, today on their blog, their new “runDisney Virtual Running Shorts Series” for this summer! They have created this in an effort to stay connected to their runners, and you can earn a pretty cool Mickey-themed medal. How cool is that?!
