Let the 50th Birthday Celebrations Begin! #50for50

My hubby and I each turn 50 this year, and we are blessed to do so. I went first with my birthday being having just happened in April, and his is in October. So my sweetheart and resident Director of Fun came up with the idea to do 50 things together to commemorate this moment in time, and I’m down for the fun!

Some of the adventures will be big things, and some will be small things that we enjoy together. We will do some activities as a couple, along with doing them with our immediate family, our extended family, our church family, and close friends.

So, the festivities have begun, and I want to chronicle them here for two reasons. One, this is my little home on the internet, and I want to be able look back on these moments here on my blog. Second, I believe that God gives us these years to celebrate. It is too easy to just let these moments pass by. Everyday in life is a gift, and the moments are to be celebrated with those who we love. So let the celebration begin!

We are off to a solid start in our #50for50, and I am so humbled and blessed. We know where our blessings come from, and so we thank the Lord for these opportunities! More to come so stay tuned!
